Well bummer for our kiddos - they both have come down with colds. Perfect timing right before we're supposed to fly to Texas for Christmas! :( Maggie was up five times last night just feeling crummy and not able to get comfortable. (Very atypical for her at this stage when she's been sleeping so well at night until now.) We talked to their pediatrician this afternoon and this is apparently the latest viral bug going around. The Kids Clinic has been getting about 12 calls a day from concerned parents who's kids have similar symptoms. It's showing itself differently for everybody -- fevers, congestion, coughs. Lovely. So far though, I'd say God has been protecting them because Jack only has congestion and a runny nose (ok, and he's been a little irritable too), and Maggie has a low-grade fever as of today accompanied by congestion. You all needed to know that, right? haha. Prayers for quick healing for them are much appreciated. After quite the struggle, she finally fell asleep and hopefully quality sleep will help them both get better soon.
