Maggie's Dedication

This past Sunday at church we dedicated sweet little Maggie. Really, this was just an opportunity for us to publicly proclaim the commitment Ken & I have already made in our hearts to God, long before she was born. That commitment being, to raise our children in a Christ-centered home in the knowledge and Truth of God. We pray over our kids every day, and most especially that they would come to know and love Jesus. We constantly are asking God to impart wisdom to us in raising these precious little ones, and also praying we would be a tangible, authentic example of a life in pursuit of Christ that our kids would see and be encouraged by. We had the blessing of both sets of grandparents there at church, along with Ken's sister, Holly, and our dear friends, the Montgomery & Jones families. Ken and I both had a chance to share a little about what it's been like to have Maggie added to the family, and what our heart's desire is as we raise her. Jack was exceptionally shy that morning and hid behind Ken's legs as we stood up at the front of the church. Both kids did just awesome throughout the entirety of the service; we were so stinkin' proud of them!! It was a special day and brought joy to us to have our entire church family praying with us over our commitment to raise our children in the love of Christ. Here are some pics from that day...
