Arrggh, Matey! :)

Larabee State Park (view near campgrounds)

The Liberte`, (the boat about to become home for the next week)

She's pickin' up some wind

Weather permitting, Ken should have some quiet nights anchored in coves like this - here the Liberte pictured at sunset in the San Juans

.... and, he's off! Ken is heading over for (what I hope) is an adventure of a lifetime, learning to sail in the San Juan Islands through San Juan Sailing School. (www.sanjuansailing.com) The weather report looks promising & they should have great wind. To say he is excited would be an understatement. We already miss him terribly and it's only been an hour since he left. He'll get to camp tonight (another part of the trip he is stoked about since his love for camping has had to take a backseat after having little ones), and tomorrow will start the adventures with his boards (he'll need to pass these first), then he'll head off with Captain Senn & a few other gents, and hit the high seas! Or, ok, more like, tame ocean waters between islands. :) Here are pics of the boat he's scheduled to be on named the, Liberte, as well as pics of the campsite for tonight at Larabee State Park. I can't wait to post updates and new pics once he's back!

So cool! I'm sure he's going to have the greatest time, and you're such a sweet wife to let him go.
