That last post was waaaay too long. Here's a quick update:
- Ken's getting better & his mobility improves every day - praise God!
- His blood tests (checking for cancer antigens & tumor markers included), came back completely normal! Another major praise!!
- He had his WSU grad school interviews yesterday & they went awesome. He was sore & had to move slowly, but I think God poured out plenty of grace to not only make it through the weekend just 3 days after surgery, but it was really a joy-filled time in the midst of an otherwise emotionally/physically exhausting week. Praises for that, too!
- The kids are doing well & seem to understand Daddy has an "owie" and have been sooo good adjusting considering their normal routines have been turned upside down this past week.
-I feel great, pregnancy-wise. No preterm labor, minimal contractions... what another huge praise!
So, there's the quick list. We did not hear back on his biopsy results, and were told it'd be some time this coming week we should hear. Ken has a CT scan tomorrow to check for metastasis in his abdomen/chest, but again, we won't hear results on that for a few days either. And as for hearing back on his interviews -- that will likely be some time in the next few weeks as well. Love you all!!!!
