Healthy!

Praises to Jesus, we are all finally healthy and over what was close to a month of colds, flu's, ails, and the rota virus. Thank you for all of your prayers and well-wishes to those of you who were lifting us up, we appreciate it more than you know! Now that we're out of survival mode and back to the grind of life, we've been enjoying time outside when the weather's been nice. We take the kids to the park every chance we get (which means every day it doesn't rain), and Jack loves to run free and play at the "big kid" park. Maggie loves the swings, and one of these days I'll remember to take a picture of the expression on her face when you push her! Jack's latest is repeating, "Oh my" and he loves making Maggie laugh. In fact, I have two quick video clips of the kids, and though they're about a month old by now, they show them laughing - the first of Jack making Maggie laugh. (you'll have to forgive the fact that our living room is almost constantly a mess with toys and jackets laying about. Anyone with kids can hopefully relate! The second video is of Ken & Jack doing their war chant victory cry and laughing together. I love hearing my kids crack up and their laughter makes my heart swell. Ahhh.... some of the joys of parenthood.... :)

Also for the past few weeks, we've had the bonus of having my brother home on leave time from the Navy. He has been stationed overseas in Belgium the past two years, so our time with him has been few & far between. He left this morning - the time sure flew by and it was so much fun to have him home! We miss you Beege and love you tons!

What sweet videos. Maggie's laugh reminded me of Kinkade's when he was a baby. So glad you are healthy.

It's really great to see pictures of happy healthy kiddos! These videos are so cute. Maggie has such a great laugh!! Isn't it so fun to watch siblings interact? I love it when the boys are laughing together and enjoying each other's company. Also -- to answer your question about where the pics of Rhett were taken, it's at my parent's house. Well, when yall make it to Texas -- we've got to hang out! Although, Grant's been talking about moving to the Northwest....
