Milk Please...
Hi there... no pics for this post, just a quick, cute story. As many of you know, Jack is taking his own sweet time to start talking. He does has a few words he'll say, but most of the time, he communicates with us in creative ways that don't involve talking at all. We've become fairly adept at anticipating Jack's needs and reading his body language to know what he needs/wants. But, sometimes we miss the queues which can be frustrating for Jack especially. I was putting some groceries away in the fridge and Jack walked right over to the cupboard to get an empty bottle, turned around and headed straight for the open fridge, helps himself to the milk in the side door, and proceeds to carry both the empty bottle & the carton of milk over to me with a priceless look on his face that said it all. It's the little moments like this that make me think talking is overrated! haha. :) He may be speech delayed for a 2 year old, but he certainly understands his world and has an irresistably cute personality that has us smiling and laughing every day!
