Punky Brewster

Poor little Maggiemoo is feeling quite punky. She probably has a form of the Rota virus from what our pediatrician can gather. In the last 24 hours, she has thrown up more than a dozen times, has had a fever off n' on for the past several days, and today began gale-force diarrhea to boot. We feel so helpless knowing how miserable she is and are doing everything we can to attempt to keep her comfortable and hydrated despite the fact that fluids are not stayin' down. The doc said this will probably last about a week or so ---- (ahh?!)---- The best remedy so far seems to be just holding her (she wants to be held, ALL DAY LONG) and is quite cuddly even if she is whimpering in discomfort. Also, we discovered acetaminophen suppositories that are helping her slightly with the fever. For any of you who are willing to pray for her, we'd sure appreciate it!
