We are THIS close to finishing up the house project "enough" to be able to move in. Which of course lends itself to more on-going projects... like the basement, and the yard, and oh, yeah, maybe unpacking boxes. ;) We are excited & it has been a blast --- taken a bit longer to complete than we were initially thinking, but isn't that true of almost all renovation projects? :) The kids are doing fantastic & have really loved living with Grandma & Papa - I've loved watching all the cute daily routines develop; like Maggie's morning makeup routine with Grandma (they pretend), big, loud, family dinners, watching the kids say goodbye to Daddy & Papa in the mornings and then Jack carrying around his own work bag & telling all of us how he's going to work. All in good time, my boy, all in good time. HA! ;) Anyways, here are two quick pics of each of them.... loved the way they came out in black & white.

Jack and Maggie are beautiful! Great pictures of them! You need to get them in modeling... those good looks could pay for the home projects -- ha ha! Or you could save it for their college. And maybe granite countertops too? Way to go on the house projects by the way! We'll be in the same boat in a few months, hopefully. I'll be calling you for support!!
You have the most photogenic kids!! Hope to get together before the summer's GONE :( Good luck with the house projects, I admire your persistence in the midst of two busy kids....how do you even screw in a light bulb with two kids (that's how I feel most days :)
