Introducing!....

LOGAN BOYD BOGGS! :) He's here! Yes, HE! ;) Born last Thursday, May 27th at 5:02pm, weighing in at 7lbs, 1oz and 19.5" long. So where's that big baby like they were predicting?... good question? I think my gigantic placenta & extra amniotic fluid threw off the sonogram measurements/predictions just a wee bit. ;) Labor went awesome -- well, longer day than I had thought it would be, but when labor finally did hit (somewhat at random despite the induction started early that morning), it went fast and in literally about 15 minutes, he had arrived. :) My dear doctor, Dr. Fern, (truly - he has to be the best obgyn any woman could ask for!) was able to deliver him just in the knick of time - as in, someone else would have caught the little guy if he hadn't just made it into the room when he did. We are absolutely in love like crazy with him and he's such a sweet little baby. Sounds a bit like a raptor when he cries, but thankfully, he doesn't cry all that often. We are adjusting to life with a newborn and toddlers, and so far-- groggy, but not horribly dysfunctionally-sleep-depraved. And, Ken has had the week off to be home with us, which has been an enormous blessing to me/us. We took Logan in for his post-delivery checkup with the pediatrician yesterday & our little nugget is only 6 lbs, 10oz at this point, but quickly gaining and doing awesome! He's just a love to hold and snuggle with, and Jack & Maggie adore him like crazy too. Ahhh, what a gift - what a sweet, sweet, sweet gift from God...
