Though it's hard to tell the scale of these from this pic, each letter is about 8-9 inches tall. Written on our less-than-a-year-old-new carpet we had installed downstairs. Front n' center in the most obvious spot. And yes, there's a big line through it because he was creating a treasure map with his name. Honestly, we don't believe this was out of spite or because he knew not to -- rather, just his imagination run wild & the first time he has ever done something like this... sigh. On the up side - he can write his name well & knows how to spell! ;) And, praise be, it was not a sharpie nor permanent ink! Nope, a black, crayola washable marker. Yes, it's taken 3 scrubs & use today of a full-fledged carpet cleaning machine, but I think we got 'er out... :) Whew!

Clara attacked our couch with fifteen solid ball point pen marks last week. It took some effort too, but it's gone. Great memories for the future, huh?! I'm glad you captured it on camera!
