I am behind on this post for sure, but without further delay... Logan turned 2 on May 27th. This little guy is our charmer for sure. His personality is such a blend of his siblings & Dad. He's been the observer, taking it in, and figured out much.... so he's at that stage where he's into everything & yet has this way of throwing his head back and flashing his dimples, that just leaves us shaking our head and trying to hide our own smiles when we want him to take our warnings seriously. He has Ken's adventure spirit & complete guts, is a total snuggler & I'm sure his dominant love language will be physical touch - already, you can tell that's how he takes love in and doles it out easiest. He's rather like his sister with enjoying a variety of shoes and she's excited to have a buddy who wants to do tea parties and push the dolls around in the stroller. And yet he's full on rough n' tumble with Jack & plays trains and basketball and frequently stands at the front door wearing Maggie's flip flops holding a bat telling us he wants to play "golf." (It's sort of the Happy Gilmore style of golf - charge & swing, never mind that he doesn't care whether he's got a golf club or a baseball bat to use.) ;) He's an outdoor kid without a doubt; he'd be outside ALL DAY LONG if we'd let him. He loves to join-or start- a dance party in the kitchen and loves to help cook. :) So the latter, maybe, is what he's picked up from me? ;) We couldn't enjoy him more or put words to how much we utterly adore him. He's a joy to celebrate, any day of the year, but I love that this year, his birthday was celebrated outside at the Redwood Forest and then the beach - wish you could have seen the joy flash all over his face as he was running with those 2-year-old-sized legs through that magnificent forest of GIANT trees that made you feel a part of a fairytale. Happy 2nd Year little Love!!! We couldn't love you more, Logie Bear!

i CANNOT believe that he is two. crazy! i loved seeing all the new pictures of him, and definitely wish we were closer to spend more time with him. we love you guys and miss you!!
