This past Sunday we celebrated Ken's Mom's birthday along with our niece, Courtney's. That afternoon, Maggie started getting a runny nose and it has turned into quite the gross cold for her since. Jack now has it too. Bummer!! We're just praying she/they didn't pass it to anyone else in the family as we surely wouldn't have gone had we known. Maggie was just coming off a round of antibiotics to treat pink eye and an ear infection from the week before, and the doc said she was past her contagious stage. She must have picked up a viral bug of sorts that she currently has, while she was fighting the last bout of stuff. Man, normally our kids are healthy but it seems like we get a quarterly cold--- and we're about due as it's been 3.5 months since the last time they had colds. Anyways, praise the Lord this isn't the flu or anything nasty! Just a common cold. I am so thankful to be home with them and love taking care of them, though it's so hard as a Mom to watch your kiddos not feel well and wish you could make them better in an instant. I'm glad I don't have any runny nose pictures to share today! hahah. Just fun pics from the party, so without further delay, here they are! :)
