It's Harvest time up at Greenbluff, which means there is all kinds of family fun going on up there at the orchards: a big hay maze, pumpkin patches, fresh baked pies & delicious cider, pony rides, apple-pickin', live music, different vendors with incredible quilts and homemade sweaters.... it's just wonderful!!! Ken & I took the kids up yesterday and had the best day. The weather couldn't have been better; September has been incredible - we get the crisp Fall evenings and the warm, sunny days that still remind us Summer was just here. The kids had an absolute blast and we did too. We definitely intend to go back again soon! Who knows, maybe every Saturday during the month they do this Harvest House festival. ;) Also for big news, Maggie is now WALKING!!! I can't believe how fast that happened. One day she was crawling, the next she was taking 19 steps and continues to build confidence every day as she practices and gets better and better. Wow, they do grow and change so fast! The kids are with Nana & Grandpa Boggs right now having a blast -- while Ken & I held our first open house this afternoon. Both of us weren't sure what to expect and at the end, felt like it was a productive & worthwhile use of time/money. About 4-5 different couples came through, and we have a gal coming from Seattle to check out the house next weekend. We're hoping we'll have a buyer this Fall, but if not, we trust God's timing and will go to plan B of either renting it out or taking it off the market and trying to sell again next Spring instead. God's plans are best and though we are finding it hard to be patient in this slow market, we know He is always in control. My prayer this morning was that we would be a light to anyone that walked through the door and the motive of our heart would be to represent Him well, not simply try to sell the house.
