The other big difference? The energy/volume of boys is outrageous. Jack can bounce off the walls, sprint between rooms only to fly over to the couch & then race back to his room for more exercise, he is LOUD- nearly the entire time he is awake (we frequently hear him making the sound of obnoxious train whistles, sirens, cars smashing, steamboats, ect.) He gets restless quickly & is STRONG. Mags on the other hand, is more emotional, wants/needs to be held more often, is super nurturing (you should see the way she wraps her teddy bears up in blankets like little newborn babies!), she's maternal even at two, and loves to help me in the kitchen and/or with cleaning & laundry. She could stay interested in one thing for a considerably longer amount of time, and enjoys quieter activities; drawing, playing with her dollhouse, and flipping through books. She does have a lively streak in her tho --- which I love. She loves to dance!! And she's rather commanding at times. "No YOU do it!" All in all, I just love the experience of having both & am constantly humbled by my weaknesses & thankful God is helping us. Thank You, Lord, that You train me too as we raise them!
Here are some pics from the past few days. Next post will likely be from Christmas activities, so until then.... WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS, WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS, WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :)

Snuggled Mags

The '09 Christmas card... if you didn't get one & wanted one, let me know. I am missing a ton of addresses thanks to our move & a hard drive crashing. ;)

Amen, sister!! This post sure holds true for my trio. It cracks me up to see the differences between them at such young ages. Hope you enjoy the holidays and that you are feeling better & better as the weeks go by! Peace to you.
